FLEET AWARDS GALA 2014

The 2014 FLEET DERBY awards gala took place on 21 May at the InterContinental Hotel in Warsaw. The winners of this year's Fleet Derby received statuettes in 30 categories: 16 automotive - defining individual car segments and 11 categories defining the best according to the nationwide fleet industry - fleet products and services. Additional statuettes - were also awarded to the Fleet Personality 2014, the Automotive Fleet Brand and the best Service Car of the Year was honoured. The organiser of Fleet Derby 2014 is Fleet Meetings, publisher of Fleet magazine. The Fleet Derby plebiscite is a test of the leading brands, the best manufacturers, concerns and the biggest players in the fleet market in Poland. Fleet Derby is a combination of a car test, which took place on 14 May this year.at the Automobile Club of Poland's Autodrome in Warsaw, as well as an online poll in 11 categories for the best fleet product and service, and for Fleet Personality, Automotive Fleet Brand and a new category - Business Car of the Year 2014.

FLEET DERBY - fleet car test

This year's third edition of the Fleet Derby event brought together 350 guests, 130 judges, 117 cars, including 93 test cars, for a special test at the Automobile Club of Poland's Autodrome on 14 May. The cars taking part in the 2014 Fleet Derby test were evaluated in 16 categories/segments, approved by the test partner, the Polish Automotive Industry Association (PZPM). A jury was dedicated to test the cars, consisting of: independent fleet managers - managing fleets of cars and vans in large companies; experts from the Polish Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association, representing leading vehicle rental and leasing companiesvehicle leasing companies, experienced automotive journalists; specialists from associations and associations, presidents and owners of companies, prominent personalities from the automotive world, VIPs. The automotive knowledge, long-standing experience and unquestionable competence of the aforementioned jurors allowed for the most objective and reliable assessment of the tested vehicles. The following were assessed: the dynamics of the car, the braking system, the ease of manoeuvring on designated test trials, the vehicle's stability when avoiding obstacles, or the car's space management and interior finish.

The Fleet Derby - Best Fleet Product, Best Fleet Service poll saw 60 products and services entered, in 11 categories: FINANCIAL SERVICE, FUEL CARD, CAR FLEET MANAGEMENT, SHORT TERM RENTAL, SERVICE, IT, GPS and MONITORING, TYRES AND TIRE SERVICE, INSURANCE, REAL VALUE ASSESSMENT and REMARKETING, ECO.

The fleet industry was also able to vote for the best Automotive Fleet Brand, thus assessing the Polish representation of an automotive concern or official importer in terms of, among other things, the quality of the offer directed at institutional customers, the quality of the models on offer, cooperation with the fleet department, the price offer, the concern/importer's service policy, etc.

Hyundai Motor Poland Sp. z o.o. A separate category of the Fleet Derby plebiscite was Fleet Personality. The purpose of this plebiscite, in which fleet managers, fleet coordinators, fleet managers and representatives of companies from the Car Fleet Management sector voted, was to select the person whowho, in his or her career as a director, manager or head of fleet sales in the Group, has stood out from others in terms of charisma, personality or approach to the customer.

For the first time, the fleet industry also selected the best Company Car of the Year 2014. This is a new category in the Fleet Derby poll, which aims to select one car from among the four, most popular segments in our country when it comes to sales to corporate customers: segments B, B+, C and D. It is models from these segments that form the backbone of most car fleets in Poland. Voting for the aforementioned plebiscite was carried out in two ways: via the website www.fleetderby.pl from February to 14 May this year, and by filling in questionnaires by representatives of the fleet industry at the Fleet Derby event itself on 14 May 2014, held at the Autodrome of the Automobile Club of Poland Warsaw - Bemowo.
